Listen to speakers live at the Oxford-Stanford Big Data in Biomedicine Conference

The third annual Oxford-Stanford Big Data in Biomedicine Conference will be taking place at Stanford University, California on 21st – 23rd May.

The agenda covers the spectrum of medical Big Data research, including genomic medicine, population health, infectious disease, imaging, clinical informatics and statistical approaches.

In addition to speakers from both Oxford and Stanford, highlights include:

Todd Park (Chief Technology Officer, The White House)

Colin Mahoney (Vice President, HP Vertica Analytics Platform – example uses include the use of Big Data analytics for the Obama 2012 presidential campaign)

Robert Gentleman (Genentech, and one of the innovators of the R statistical software)

Rob Califf (Vice Chancellor, Duke University; and Co-PI of the US Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute)

Phil Bourne (Associate Director for Data Science, NIH and founding Editor in Chief of PLoS Computational Biology )

Teri Manolio (Director, Division of Genomic Medicine, National Human Genome Research Institute)

Dan Roden (Vanderbilt University and the NIHH eMERGE network coordinating centre)
